How Fux News Is Spinning Trump's Handing Classified Information to the Russians.
The Faux Noise propaganda machine is in full spin mode over this. The flack propaganda diversions are as follows...
A) Ad Hominem: The Washington Post is a LEEBERAL paper, so you can't trust it, and it's using UN-NAMED sources, so it's probably not true.
B) Whataboutism and False Equivalency: Hillary Clinton sent classified emails over a unsecured server, so Democrats should shut up about this....blah blah blah. (For the record, Clinton's server was never hacked, and a grand total of three emails out of 60,000 were marked classified, with two of those having been improperly marked as such.)
And, finally, their ultimate fall back position...
C) 'When the President does it, that means it's not illegal': When George Bush Jr. deliberately leaked a bunch of classified information, and was caught...their official story was that Bush had 'retroactively' de-classified it. And that seemed to put an end to it. It's a sad fact that the President is ALLOWED to leak classified information. Yeah, nobody ever expected we'd have a Russian Asset in the White House, so that's a little awkward. But it's still a fact that President Shit-for-Brains is technically allowed to give the Russians classified information, whether it's on purpose or not. Somebody in Government should probably seal up that loop hole, but I doubt it'll be the Republicans. At least not when there is a Republican President who's handing out the classified information.
