Not that I am blaming DU of course - I could always just close the laptop!

waiting for the next shoe to drop that will end this nightmare. I keep hoping, but we've been very disappointed over the years.

Until the repukes come around to reality, we have little hope.

I never know what will pop into my head when I have insomnia. Last night I suddenly began musing on what could happen next. If North Korea manages to make a nuclear strike on the west coast, do I live far enough away (on the Gulf Coast) to survive a blast?? Thoughts like that don't encourage restful sleep, but it is what we've come to with tRump. I wonder how much longer we can go on with this madness? I am sick of the stress and uncertainty, but like watching a train wreck, I can't seem to look away. When will we get some real help from the people in Congress who can make it stop? Is everyone derelict in their duty?? Woe is us! No wonder I can't sleep.

starting around March of 2016. I didn't realize until recently that it was probably due to Trump-stress. I have to use my night guard every night now.

This weekend I purposefully ignored the news and today, Monday, waited until 6 p.m only to see the breaking news about Trump leaking intel to the Russians. Geez!!!! Now, I am listening to light classical music and desperately trying to find some way to calm my mind. This is stress management to the max. I am trying to rewind memories in my mind of walking on the beach, listening to the rhythm of the waves.
