He feels bulletproof and it isn't exactly delusional b/c thus far in 70 yrs he has been. The trappings of absolute power fuel his pathology.
It's criminal, but not irrational for him to expect a free pass from his @GOP conspirators, e.g. Sessions to Gorsuch to Ryan and McConnell.
In other words, it's an antisocial narcissist sandwich. His sense of entitlement and passion for committing crimes are symbiotic.
When you couple that with a society and government that enable and institutionalize White male exceptionalism/criminality it's a DISASTER.
