Sitting in a restaurant today I overheard snippets of a loudmouth trump supporter...

I'm Canadian so I tend not to meet a huge number of people up here who speak positively about Trump. And indeed this person only mentioned him in one sentence in passing. I didn't even think about his politics much until that point. But the image I did get was of a crude, crass, misogynist ass hole. This was a fast food Doner kebab place frequented by the large local Persian community here (on a side note an absolutely mouth-wateringly addicting place lol). The gentleman in question appeared to be of Persian descent himself which might seem kind of ironic given he spoke in support of a racist wannabe dictator but crudeness knows no bounds.

So at first I didn't think much about the fact that this guy was talking fairly loudly, this isn't a fine sit down restaurant, lots of people talk louder. But the more I listened the more I felt physically ill. He was JUST the type of person I picture Trump himself as being. He spoke loud enough that the whole place could hear him, not because he necessarily wanted everyone to hear I felt but that he was the type that is so full of himself, so oblivious to others that he just takes up the whole room. I didn't hear a lot of the conversation but enough to know that he spoke condescendingly of his own daughter. At first it sounded like in support of, he was angry that someone had "checked out his daughter", which fine enough you can be angry about. But the longer he went on about it the more I felt he was trying to broadcast the fact that his daughter WAS someone to check out, he mentioned the fact that his daughter was slender and tall etc. There were other frequent condescending references to women in his life. Other crude and crass remarks that I can't quite remember. I just got the feeling that I wanted to physically remove myself from the place. The guy oozed low, crass, crudeness.

And then he mentioned that he was taking a trip down to California for some purposes, and off hand mentioned Trump and the fact that what he was doing wasn't liked by 99% of the population. Which he then said, "and that's probably a good thing".

This is your Trump supporter. People JUST like himself. Crude, ass grabbing, ego on wheels.

I guess we can find them anywhere.

Sorry you had to endure him.

Sounds like a cool restaurant, though.

His facial features seemed to be those of someone of middle eastern decent. The part of the city I live in has a very large Persian community so statistically it's likely. But It's just a guess. I don't mean by the way to insinuate that his personality had any connection to his race, the reason I brought that up was that it seemed interesting in terms of his personality when seen in contrast to the place I was in. I also guessed from the fact that he had absolutely zero accent or even a hint of one that he had spent most of his life here. This is actually in fairly stark contrast to most of the other middle eastern people who frequent this place and in general that I see, who are much more recent immigrants, have more pronounced accents. And I must point out are mostly nothing but the best of people.
