Unquestionably, installing Trump as president is the greatest covert op success since WW2. The US president is now leaking classified intelligence to Russia simply because he wants to brag. Whatever tiny amount of trust our allies may have had in the US president is now gone.

This is way more than Putin could even have hoped for. He was probably thinking he would get an easing on Ukraine, more room for Assad to commit war crimes in Syria, and some general weakening of ties with Europe and NATO. But this is nuts.

And it's only been a few months.
