This nation's IC scrambled to try and fix this disaster, which has just been made worse by the obvious lying and complicity of those in charge.

Trump will not accept accountability and admit he fucked up and will never do it again. It is not in his nature. Instead, he must go the "I intentionally did it and for good reason" defense. We know this is bullshit because they begged WaPo to not reveal certain aspects of the story. Trump was bragging and showing off as usual. That is who he is.

No one with critical thinking skills believes the spin. Fortunately that still leaves many citizens that will believe it or just do not really care as they do not see it affecting their lives one way or the other.
