Did somebody interrupt the Madman mid-tweet yesterday?

Because he posted this...

Which ended with the ellipsis that always seem to indicate a continuation tweet.....which never happened. A few hours later there was a standard PR tweet on manufacturing, and later on he gave out a standard shout-out to the wannabe Turkish despot that he entertained, but we never heard more about Trump's claim of conversations he had with Comey and "leakers".

And considering the news that broke later on in the day, and the subject matter of the tweet (i.e. Trump bragging about private conversations he had with James Comey), you really have to wonder if someone on the staff had advance notice of the news that was going to be breaking later on today, saw the tweet and immediately rushed to wherever the Madman was and literally wrestled Trump's phone away from him.

Also, it's curious that the way he phrases the tweet, it makes it sound like Comey's still the FBI director and he's still asking him to do things for him. But then again, we're dealing with a guy who makes it sound like Frederick Douglass is still alive.
