This is all too easy, I'm starting to think we're getting okie doked by the Republicans.

I think it's they who are leaking all this crap on Тяцмр. Seriously. We all know he's a grotesque with absolutely no business in the office, that's a given. But if he's forced out no one benefits more than the GOP. With Dolt 45 in office there's a whirl of chaos that pretty much handcuffs their legislative agenda and there's also the fact that they all hate him too. If he's gone the very dangerous, politically savvy Mike Pence takes over. He's a religious lunatic and a total douchebag but he knows how Washington works and is wholly devoted to the cruel, destructive agenda of the far right. Unless we can get them all, Тяцмр, Pence, Sessions, McConnell and Ryan in the Russian probe we're probably better off with the Orange Anus isolated in the White House until we can vote him out. The last thing the country needs is a streamlined, lean and mean GOP passing things through the House and a nuclear Senate. Don't think they won't do that, put nothing past those motherfuckers.

I think we need to step back and think about this. Comrade Тяцмр might not be the worst option among those available. Gods help us, he might be the best.

This might be a "be careful what you wish for" moment.

What a terrible position to be in.

People are too giddy to think straight. We are still looking at months and months of obstruction from Lyin granny killer Ryan and the repuke toe suckers. They are spineless cowards who worship $$$ and their master SCROTUS pussy grabber.

I have zero confidence that we will get rid of this barnacle until 2020. Even then I'm not confident.

RESIST!!! Don't relax!

Could be sooner than 2020. Could be 2020. The OP is terrified of the GOP. I choose to believe we will win in the end.

It's all coming together so neatly and conveniently. We hate him so we wanted him gone from minute one and in our froth to do so we're overlooking what happens if he is forced out. The GOP hates him because he embarrasses them and throws wrenches in the works constantly. They'd like nothing more than to get rid of him as well. It's barely four months and we're hearing about impeachment, McCain is calling it watergate level already. It's too easy. We're doing the Republican's work for them.

I think we need to take a breath and consider the consequences of all this. I think I'd rather have the Comrade bumbling around and causing chaos than have President Pence signing national right to work laws, ending Medicare, outlawing abortion and generally hurting as many people as they can.

This is happening really fast and I'm suspicious of who is greasing the skids.

on the Russian scandal of interfering with our election and the possible collusion by Trump's team.

There are just too many coincidences there that lead me to believe that collusion actually did take place. I would like to see all those involved in that collusion taken out. That may include Pence, Ryan, McConnell and a whole host of other Repugs.

Let's get that finished first - then given all that - begin impeachment proceedings against Trump.

that someone from the GOP is leaking things to the press. However, I can't fathom Trump being in the White House, sorry.

But there is no way in hell there will be anything remotely resembling a democracy by 2020 if we buy into that crap

First, you assume that Pence and other R's who may have known something are clean. That's a very broad assumption and your concerns fall flat if that assumption is untrue.

Second, you assume that Congress will still run roughshod after a complete refutation of any mandate. No they really don't have a mandate today, but by holding the Oval Office they have a "bully pulpit". They have their "leader" go down in disgrace, there is no bully pulpit, no matter the fact that someone with "r" after their name is POTUS.

Third, almost nobody voted for Pence. The rabid dogs who voted against Hilary could not have cared any less about Pence. Snoopy could have been the VP nominee and it wouldn't have changed their vote. So, public opinion isn't on Pence's side.

Last, i don't know why you think the empty suit who takes the position from a disgraced former POTUS would have any clout or political capital. Even if Pence, that person is a toothless tiger in the Antarctic.

If you doubt that last piece, see Gerald Ford. An honorable and respected man who became the punchline of jokes when he became POTUS under disgraceful circumstances.
