If he was joking, then it was monumentally un-presidential. If he wasn't, it smells like OOJ. Either way, it's not what the head of the executive branch does.

that lame excuse again. During the campaign, whenever Trump said something off the wall and offensive, his surrogates were quick to say, "He was joking" or "He was being sarcastic". So essentially, you can never take anything he says at face value, he could just be joking.

Meanwhile, Comer is admitting that he believes what Comey said about the meeting.
