Republicans have a deep problem with their "CEO" bullshit.

They do not take an oath to defend their "CEO". They take an oath to defend the "Constitution".

They seem to believe that they work for Donald J Trump? He is their "boss". He can hire and fire whomever he wants. No. That is not the way it works.

The government is not meant to be run like a business. Never in a million years. There is a big flaw in your philosophy if you believe that bull crap.

Anyone who has ever studied any level of government knows that to be true. If you try to get the cheapest deal, ..instead of the best thing for the people that you serve, you end up with ..Flint Michigan

You are so right on that, and republicans are all flawed in that thinking...yes...ALL OF THEM!!!!

First and foremost, government operates to provide service. Must they do so on a budget? Yes. But note that Federal governments are designed to operate on budget deficits; that's something of an engine for the national economy. Can they pursue their mission in accordance with business principles? Sure. But anyhow, the main goal is to get services provided; all other concerns are subordinate to that one.

First and foremost, private business operates to generate a profit. Without a profit, a business cannot endure, although some can and will operate in the red for a long time. Can the business model involve providing a service? Sure. But ultimately the main goal is to generate more income than it has in expenditures; all other concerns are subordinate to that one.

If either one of these sectors -- public or private -- looks more like the way your household budget works, it's the pirvate sector, not the public sector.

So, yeah: the country needs a President, not a CEO. And the government needs political leadership, not a board of directors.
