Clandestine data capture and release, by operators not in the room, is distinctly different than seeking a leaker among the "cast of characters" in the room and their aides). It still gets the un-vetted info out there, and remains anonymous (until it falls apart). We have learned from the IC that if it can be monitored, it will be (total information awareness).

My hunch is the recent, so-called leaks from the Office of the Speaker of the House (Putin pays Trump & Rohrabacher) are part of the IC same operation.

i watched an episode of the first 48 and this woman whose son had been murdered, said "I don't want to be a rat" to the police. It didn't take much persuasion to get her to tell all she knew, after all it was her son, but some people actually act as if helping to bring a murderer to justice is worse than murdering a person.
