(2,766 posts)I'm with you. The photos sadden and frustrate me as well but, mainly, they anger me.
Boy oh boy, Trump sure is flushed in those photos. It makes me think he was super stressed about this meeting. That and he's a coronary waiting to happen.

(16,920 posts)the election about Clinton, and there he is basically celebrating his coup as if the rest of us are too stupid to see what is going on. It's infuriating.

(50,453 posts)There is a problem: Right now, I don't even trust the walls to be clean of bugs. The only way we're going to remove the signs of Trump's dalliances with the Russians from that room is to destroy a couple hundred years of history by tearing out the historical plaster, windows and flooring. Even though Trump has been an absolute disaster for America and it gets worse by the minute, we simply can't do that.
There is an alternative. Once we've excised the cancer of the Trump administration from our midst, turn the White House into a museum and move all the offices, the presidential residence, and whatnot to a secure location away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue...I suggest building it on the west side of Patuxent Road at Fort Meade, right across the street from NSA headquarters. To pay for it we will seize and sell Trump properties, starting with Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower NYC. And I have the perfect new presidential mansion: build the Director of NSA (a three-star general) a set of new quarters on Fort Meade, and move the president into his old ones.

(13,520 posts)Today's breaking news has lit me afire with hope!! Tonight I don't think we're going down...can't prove much, don't "know" a lot, but - I think we'll be okay.
The Russian people, on the other hand...so appalling. They sure have miserable luck with their leaders, amirite? - When they hit the streets, they literally take their lives in their hands, as we know. *sigh* And I can't conceive of how it might come about, but maybe they'll be free one day..
Damn I sound hokey and trite, but you know what I mean!!

(613 posts)The last one is the kicker. Look how deferential Tillerson is.
They are both total slime. At least the guy on the left is a patriot - a Russian patriot. Tillerson and 45 are selling out their own country.
