I'm noticing a shift in how MSNBC presents news. . . .

They just went to break on Alex Witt with heading stating something like, "Democrats overplaying their hand?"

And then, just now---Something about "Can Trip Improve Trump Image?"

Seriously? And for the record, Alex Witt is a fucking idiot.

Since it's about a bunch of politicians all on their own engaging in traitorous behavior. All without any pushing on the side of Democrats! What does "politicizing this" mean when it's a traitorous crime??? Stupid assholes!

than the nighttime commentators since the very beginning of the network. Apparently some kind of weird attempt at "balance".

It sucks yeah, but that's the way it has always been. It isn't a "shift". I don't think most folks watch it during the day anyway. Night time is what makes them money.

Or Andrea Mitchell cozying up to Republicans during the daytime news programming all these years?

The Network has always shown right-leaning programming during the day. When nobody is bothering to watch.

I've always assumed it is some half assed attempt a "balance."

I know it is trendy on DU right now to claim otherwise but since day one they've shown more conservative programming in the daytime.

Liberal/Progressive night line-up is the crown jewel and is what makes the network money.

for a new channel, MSNBC sees their opportunity. The Comcast CEOs care about ratings and money, not about reporting. They are quite willing to step a bit to the right to draw in more viewers.

7. Indeed bottom line is money. And left/liberal night time is still a big money-maker for them.

IMHO daytime MSNBC has always been a little right leaning. Anybody remember Imus in The Morning?

Comcast tries to fly their trial balloons. CNN did the same after they outed Turner. Andy Lack is like Trump,it is all about their Ego's. Just another failed CEO working on his so called Legacy.
