Better him than the gullible followers

People real fool yuh see!

<snip>
On May 13, Saint of the Last Days Church pastor Jonathan Mthethwa tried to show his congregants what a biblical miracle looked like by imitating Jesus Christ's feat of walking on water. Unfortunately, he drowned in the White River Mpumalanga (Crocodile River) and his church members saw how three crocodiles ate him, Information Nigeria details.

"The pastor taught us about faith on Sunday last week. He promised he would demonstrate his faith to us today, but he unfortunately ended up drowning and getting eaten by 3 large crocodiles in front of us," church member Deacon Nkosi said. "We still don't understand how this happened because he fasted and prayed the whole week."

The Zimbabwean pastor reportedly ventured into the crocodile-infested river and tried to ascend when he was already 30 meters below the surface. However, the three large crocodiles appeared and began chomping on him.

Nkosi said the pastor was gone in a couple of minutes. They only saw his sandals and underwear floating in the river when the crocodiles had finished feasting on the pastor. Emergency crew arrived at the scene 30 minutes after the incident, but there was nothing they could do since Pastor Mthethwa was already dead.

The story doesn't even make sense. After he was 30 meters under he tried to ascend ....

How does one get 30 meters under water when they are trying to walk on it.

Maybe some of the rabid, right-wing "true believers" in this country will get some ideas.
