and my take away from what I've watched so far is that Trump & his admin watched it too and that's their playbook.

The only real difference so far is the break-in/hacking angle (which is still a type of break-in) and instead of one deep throat, we have a plethora.

Nixon supporters claimed back then that Nixon was being railroaded by the Democrats and the Media and that there was no evidence just like the Trumpies are claiming now.

4. I don't know how many people knew it but Muskie

was quite the drinker in his days. My Dad was in a position to meet and get to know a lot of the movers and shakers in Maine politics and he told me that Muskie has quite a reputation for his heavy drinking.

5. If it's on TV the Donald will watch it but not if it is in book form.

I wonder if they also saw that Nixon left office with a 35% approval rating. That fact will probably encourage them to continue along the path they're on. His base is a solid 35% no matter what he does. He could be a traitor and they wouldn't care. They love his bully/thug personality and the issues don't matter to them and never will.
