(3,363 posts)Pelosi said he's getting dangerously close to potential obstruction. This is talking about possible obstruction.
He asked Comey to end the Flynn investigation and asked the Intel heads to publicly announce there is no collusion. And he worked with Nunes/Burr to try and tamp down the investigation or slow it down. And he fired Comey to relieve "great pressure" over the investigation, while bragging to the Russians.
He without question is committing obstruction of justice, far worse than Nixon. I'm tired of the maybes, possiblies, and potentials.
but I think the way our legislature is configured (republican) - it will just have to come from Mueller. Our hope is that he gets his work done fast.......because in the meantime, Chump is ruining everything

(2,404 posts)I was a kid during Watergate, so I was more interested in ice pops and bike-riding than the proceedings, but it is very frustrating to listen to all the possibles, ect, when we all know they are guilty as hell.
I understand that the take down has to be carefully orchestrated so that Liar Trump and his Merry Band of Robbing Hoods don't get off on some loophole, but it is hard to watch.

(5,730 posts)that because it happened and everyone knows it, the Republicans will vote the truth. When have they, in recent years?
We have to wait for Mueller, then the Repubs will negotiate a resignation so DT can look like a winner.
Then, we have to deal w Pence, unless Mueller takes him down too, which he hopefully will.

(23,091 posts)I don't think this is good news. The actual selling of our election through illegal collusion with a hostile foreign power is the pre-eminent thing for me. The quid pro quo of you help me and I'll turn American foreign policy to favor Russia and remove sanctions is the most dastardly thing that's happened and I wish Mueller was investigating this and would like to know "why not"? That's what the entire Repug party signed on for, including Ryan and McConnell and now this isn't a priority?

Maybe I over-reacted, certainly wouldn't be the first or the 1,000th time,
