Comey felt the people around the president were dishonorable

Cooper pointed out that defenders of the President could look at Trump's interactions with Comey as just a businessman trying to win people over to his side.

For decades you allowed these dishonorable people to thrive in their local haunts, committing fraud and conspiracy that harmed their own communities, and you did nothing. You had many opportunities to nip it in the bud. You could have established your authority and send words of caution to our local and state leaders, but, instead you did nothing. So I'm not surprised that you're now meeting the same personalities at the federal level, since your inattention allowed them to rise through the ranks.

I would be enjoying watching your moment of karma, if it weren't so painful to see the parallels.
