He is a democrat but he also is a quintessential montanean. Born and raised, cowboy hat wearing, etc..

The early vote is likely to be more Democratic and election day tends to be more GOP.

Not sure how this plays because it is so late.

Baucus-1978,1984,1990,1996,2002,and 2008.
