Won't Believe GOP Will Pay Price For Their Evil Until It Actually Happens.

In 2016 the GOP was amply rewarded for their sick agenda and their 8 years of almost total obstruction of everything. They took away so much from vulnerable Americans already and stopped so much progress that it did not matter. They ended up with total control of the government and we have a stooge in the White House with a "wrecking ball racist Cabinet". All of our agencies are staffed with saboteurs and criminals.

So all the talk that what the GOP is doing will hurt them seems like wishful thinking. No matter how GOP policies are absolutely hated they are still winning elections. And my read is that they are confident that they will gain seats in 2016. Like the predictions about Hillary winning predictions about Demarcating gains in 2018 look no different.

In the world of alternative facts, fake news, parallel political universes, dirty money, et al it is hard to believe that the GOP will ever suffer for anything they have done or will do. We are now in a place where reality, facts and the real truth do not seem to matter.

So until the GOP actually gets its ass kicked I will not believe it.

I just can't understand what makes so many people want to support the Republican Party. They aren't rich and they aren't going to benefit much (if any) from the tax cuts.

Everyone knows that the rich keep getting richer while things get harder and harder for the rest of us. How can they possibly think that voting for the party of the rich will do anything other than make that worse?

A party with the agenda of today's Republican Party should be a fringe party in a modern first-world country like the U.S. - polling not much more than the Libertarians.

Somehow, they have achieved effective-majority status. And it's hard for me to understand why without being very uncharitable to a huge portion of my fellow countrymen.

Republicans get rewarded for being terrible human beings. I hate conservatives in all shapes and forms. If you voted Republican know that I hate you whomever you are. That wasn't received well over Christmas b/c some family votes R.

This is a war for the future survival of America. Progressives are losing this war b/c they don't want to get as nasty as victory will take.

Stop trying to placate. Stop trying to compromise. Stop thinking Republicans have compassion. Stop believing persuasion is a viable tool.
Stop telling me "when they go low, we go high." That is bullshit. Sit on your high horse when it's on the podium not looking up at from the ground.

I will no longer assume the US voters are intelligent enough to discern reality from Fox News and Facebook stories.

the GOP base to vote against such issues as abortion and LGBTQ rights...but now...they are revealed for who they really are and when push comes to shove, I think people will vote their pocketbooks especially with issues like the loss healthcare and social security staring them in the face... The GOP
had a Democratic President to stop them from implementing their unpopular agenda...now they don't.
