California legislature passes Homeowners Rights Bill - hooray!

I'm so proud of California. My state passed this nice piece of legislation yesterday, thanks to the work of many groups and the support of our AG Kamala Harris. It seeks to address many of the worst abuses of the lending industry and gives homeowners some protection during the process. Not home YET, the Governor must sign it.

FYI: This is the same week that CA opted for high-speed rail (and the jobs it will bring) and passed a resolution to make Citizen's United unconstitutional.
