How many Facebook "friends" have stopped posting about 45? Any shown remorse?
Nor sure about some of mine, as I blocked them, so don't get postings and I don't look up their pages.
My Sister still thanks god for such a great president, no hope for her. Several others have had no postings of trump in over a month. None show any remorse, but I only have 44 "friends", over half are family- great majority conservative.

1. Not sure anymore. I disinfected my fb list a few months ago.
I drew a line and any decided that Trump supporters don't belong in my world on a personal level. If I was seeing pro trump shit, I went and deleted them. I must have deleted about 50-60 people.

And the left wing media is out to get him.

but we've had a mutual unspoken agreement not to talk politics for a long time now.

6. I have one who used to like/share Herman Cain shit
All the time. Not as much now. Most of the links were about how wonderful drumf was doing.
I think the last thing she liked was a link about the WH being lit up in blue in support of law enforcement. I'm sure the FBI and other federal law officers got a good laugh about that "gesture". Clearly drumf forgets that they, too, are law enforcement. Wonder if he flipped the blue light switch before or after he wrote a tweet trashing the IC and federal law agents? Kidding, of course, since he couldn't even find the regular light switches in the WH. He probably didn't even know it was lit up blue. |

7. It is strangely quiet on my FB
I rarely see politics of any kind. A FB friend of my cousin's though, recently "friended" me and has posted a few quite liberal rants. I wonder how she gets along with my cousin, as my cousin is a fire-breathing wingnut like the rest of that side of my family. I have only had to give the shove-off to one person. He was a nice guy at first. Mostly pics of him and his boyfriend, or of him and his cat. He was a Hilary Clinton supporter, but most of the content of his posts was fluff or what was going on with his college classes. After Shitgibbon won, however, he started in with this "we gotta give him a chance" tripe. By April, when I unfriended him, his fluff was gone, as were most of his former friends, and he was acting like the angry white middle-aged deplorables who replaced them as his friends. Sad that someone so young could get so nasty so fast.

8. Twitter's gone quiet
I don't see the deplorables posting so many replies to Trump's tweets or mainstream news stories. They're either ashamed or borrowing deeper intro their right wing realities.

11. I blocked my best friend of 40+ years
He figured it out and hasn't contacted me since. I just couldn't take the regurgitation of what he heard on Fox & AM radio every time we were in contact. Talk about brain-washing!

15. I unfriended my brother when Obama was running the first time.
That lasted 7 years and we started talking again. I mean we didn't even speak on the phone or see each other at holidays. He started in being a Trump supporter and that was it. One "discussion" and I was done. I didn't have him in my life at all for years and I wasn't missing a thing. Back to not having zip to do with each other since.

10. For those on Facebook
For either a good laugh or reading that will make you sick to your stomach, go to the FB site "I support Donald Trump". When I started looking at it, I found it humorous. The farther into it, it was painful.

12. I have one who became upset because we shamed her for voting for a third party candidate...
aka, voting for Trump. We finally parted on a sour note because I wouldn't apologize. She believed all the trash talk about Hillary and I couldn't believe she would be that stupid and cause the rest of us to suffer through a Trump administration.
She now posts sayings on Facebook about not carrying grudges...shortens your life and makes you miserable type of trash. I totally ignore her. I figure that if she has to post those thoughts (5/day) then it must really be bothering her. Now that Breitbart and FOX are going down the tube, she won't have anything to listen to/read. Her husband is retired from the sheriff's department and she believes what he believes. I'd prefer she think for herself, but that is no longer my problem. |

17. Your last paragraph..
I had one try to talk politics with me, then she went home and asked her husband what party they are. I was shocked that women can't think on their own..

19. That absolutely drives me crazy. What will she do if he dies before her?
How will she survive?
I have another friend who did the same thing, but her husband died. She now votes Republican without paying attention to who is running...just because that's the way her husband always voted. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! That's not a strong bond, that's stupid! |

13. Trump supporters quiet now
Thank goodness I don't have to see those non sense posts about being proud to have them as first family. One deplorable is upset and can't stand Trump. Why? Because he is planning to cut food stamps. Guess she gets some because she is HOT. She is on Facebook whining. I almost told her she was part of the reason he won. Oh she praised him everyday of the campaign and defended all of the stuff he said/did during the campaign. Now she wants to whine when it affects her. <eye roll>.

14. Thank God ...
OP, none in my family voted for the beast (Unless they're lying--don't think so), and none of my friends did either. Now, some of my friends family members did have family/friends in Ohio and WV who voted for the pig, but they've heard nothing from those folks and aren't going looking for them either.

Most disagreed with me, but years later a few admitted that I was right.

21. I didn't even know Trump supporters existed on my list until
days after the election when I started seeing "give him a chance" and "the liberal media won't let him try to govern come January" type posts.
I do have many republican and conservative friends, but many of them were very vocal Never Trump. It was the silent or hidden Trump supporters that threw me. They still occasionally post things about the media not being nice to him but that's it. |

22. I would only consider 3 out of my 227 friends hard-core Trumpanzees.
And even their posts in support of Trump have fallen off in the last several weeks, and really this goes back to when the AHCA was pulled from a vote in March. There was a brief flare-up after Manchester, but one guy got slapped down in his attack on Arianna Grande real fast by several of his friends. The other Republicans who I know have either expressed some level of buyer's remorse or have gone completely silent.

23. No direct Facebook friends that I'm aware of
But I have a couple of friends who are friends of wingnuts. The friends used to get responses from some of their liberal posts, but I've noticed the responses are decreasing quite a bit. One friend who posts a LOT of stuff was getting a response from his dumbass friend every other post or so. Now if dumbass responds to one in a dozen posts it's a lot, and he gets quite a bit of pushback from me and other friends of my friend. He might have gotten tired of being pantsed online every other day.
