53. It was interesting when the other Steve was talking about the economy and how everyone has

confidence, etc. A very rosy picture.

However, I've noticed some slowing:

New residential home sales are down over 11% from last month.

Advance orders of durable goods are down nearly a point. Orders of cars are down 1.2%. The only thing that is up is orders for military stuff.

Now, we both know these may be just blips, because no trends have developed yet. However, I'm deeply concerned about the Trump WH telling their financial regulators to go easy on enforcing the Volcker Rule. This is a terrible decision, considering what happened just over 9 years ago - the Great Recession where so many were wiped out. And I fear Wall Street is 'at it' again.

The other fear, of course, is of a holocaust. You might accuse me of wearing a tin-foil hat here, but I've read that the Trump plan is to create an archipelago of private prisons, or concentration camps, to house the people rounded up by ICE. Prisons shouldn't be private anyway, but rounding up 11 million people? That absolutely horrifies me.

By the way, you were good on Fox and Friends. Well done.
