I want them to develop evidence and testimony, and build an airtight case so that there's no reasonable doubt of anyone's guilt. We also need to turn another 15-20% of the electorate around and get them on the guilty, guilty, guilty! side of things.

on insufficient evidence. And by "evidence" I don't mean just what we see on the news; I mean facts that would survive in court, where the prosecution has to prove all elements of the charged offenses beyond a reasonable doubt. If they start arresting people prematurely, or even seeking indictments prematurely (which is how any prosecution of major federal crimes normally starts, not with arrests), they run the risk of having the charges dismissed and losing any factual or procedural advantage they had. Whatever is going on here is obviously very complex, involving many actors, money trails through foreign countries, and the possible prosecution of people at the highest levels of our government. If you want an example of how Byzantine this sort of case can be, go read "All The President's Men," the story of how Woodward and Bernstein helped break open the Watergate scandals.

The FBI and Mueller, the Special Counsel, will take as much time as they need to nail down facts sufficient for a successful prosecution. That could be a long time.

They gathered up all the corpses of people who had died of the plague and catapulted them over the walls of the city, bringing terror, panic, and disease to their hated enemies.

That's what needs to happen now. No more pussyfooting around the Bill of Rights. Grab the pitchforks and storm the Bastille now!!! Where are the Mongol hoardss when we need them most?

What you're proposing is illegal for good reason. People at Free Republic were just certain the Clintons murdered Vince Foster and that Clinton's email server was illegal. Should they have had the right to have her locked up because they were just as sure as you are now?

The Bill of Rights is just the thing Trump and other despots would like to trample. We need to be sure that doesn't happen.

to scare these guys into doing something really, really stupid. Unfortunately, they're dealing with hard core mobsters and those guys don't scare so easily. They're more afraid of retaliation by the mob. You can stonewall and beat a rap. You can't hide from the mob.
