She was my governor for six years. She's as phony as a three dollar bill. As one of the thousands who are still without health insurance because this fucking sack of shit refused the ACA Medicare expansion, I can tell you first-hand that this "reasonable, caring person" does not exist. She is the same person who let the Confederate flag fly on the statehouse grounds for six years, and only took it down because she was shamed into it after a bunch of people were murdered in their church. Fuck her. I hope her association with Donny Doll Hands ruins her politically.

She only had that hate-rag taken down after NINE innocent people of faith were gunned down by a young white racist - in their church. She was, indeed, shamed into doing it.

I watched that whole day. I watched that whole sad business go down. Cried for days. And the entire time I could not help but notice she wore "LOOK AT ME!!!!!!" outfits. Every time she was on camera. Whether it was immediately after the crime itself, and in subsequent appearances including the big wide crowd shots on the day that damn "flag" was removed. A bright color that set her off in a sea of men in dark business suits. One time she wore a blinding white suit - against that human backdrop. You literally could not miss her. You could spot her in that crowd from 30,000 feet. Gee, girlie, need some ATTENTION??????

She seems to have a whole closet full of "LOOK AT ME-ME-ME-ME-ME" clothes. I bet she'd wear neon yellow to a funeral.

And aside from that, she's a republi-CON. So that's enough for me.

I do think she has lots of ambition, and probably relished the invitation to be UN Ambassador because she sees it as a stepping stone to the Presidency. Her own.

for several years when I lived in South Carolina. She was worthless then, so worthless now. I just felt bad for my real hometown state New York, having to put up with her crap. Oh well, hopefully she's quit soon.

Make no mistake she is a horror. She called rape crisis centers special interest groups and tried to slash their funding. She left SC infrastructure in such disrepair people are dying because of potholes on the highways. She raided the gas tax fund, which was supposed to pay for roads to give tax breaks to the rich.

Her solution was to raise the gas tax and cut income taxes by 2%. Which basically means a millionaire would pay thousands less in income taxes, while the states poor would pay 10 cents more at the pump. Thankfully it didn't get far. But hey, they would still get a tax cut of about 0, because they earn so little to begin with.

She refused to expand Medicaid so many people could not get insured. They earned to little to get the ACA and too much to qualify for Medicaid.

She somehow managed to come into office so far in debt that she couldn't afford to pay her taxes and left a multi millionaire; 6 years later.
