MSNBC Analyst SHOCKS Host By Insisting Jared Kushner Is A Russian Agent [VIDEO]

Last edited Tue May 30, 2017, 06:19 PM - Edit history (3)

Jamali insisted that Kushner’s request, which was ultimately not implemented, leads to only one conclusion: “This man was either a Russian agent, either aspiring to be a Russian agent or was in fact a Russian agent.”

“You think Jared Kushner was a Russian agent?” Ruhle asked incredulously.

“Absolutely,” Jamali responded.

THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!!

We don't know that.

We know that Kushner was discussing a secure communication channel with the Russians to circumvent US intelligence monitoring.

We don't know that he did not succeed in some alternative manner than what was discussed late last year.

It would be foolish to believe such channels don't exist in this administration.

Although it might be a shade more difficult to use them now.

No back channel needed when your SOS is willing to have secret personal meetings with the guy you were wanting to contact.

It doesn't sound like his book is any sort of professional or scholarly treatise on 'russian spy catching', that's just the title of the book. The fact that he's sold the movie rights to it, and it's been voted 'funniest book of the year' suggests it's mostly about entertainment. This could also be something of a promo for the the film release which is apparently in the works according to the S&S website description.

Also, dude could be another Wayne Simmons type for all we know.

Lastly his observations are contingent upon the basic fact being true ... he attempted to set up secret communications channel to Putin or other Russian higher-ups. We don't even know for sure THAT is true, and it'd be HIGHLY Rove-like for a story like this to get 'planted' ... although it's not nearly as good of one as the forged TANG docs for Bush given to Rather, because ... you could really never PROVE that conversation did NOT happen.

Then again, may've been an attempt at Rove-style dirty trick ... done by a trickster much less competent than Rove himself ...

ANYways, unless and until it's confirmed this convo actually happened, all of the 'this would be really bad ... if true!' stories in the world ... like this dudes ... aren't going to amount to jack shit.

A national-security expert who has worked as a double agent for the FBI against Russian intelligence operations says the bureau's current model for identifying Russian assets relies too much on a Cold War-era style of human-asset recruitment.

Naveed Jamali, who secretly reported to the FBI for four years while pretending to work for a Russian spy, was invited by Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell to brief the House Intelligence Committee last week on Russia's techniques for recruiting foreign spies.

Sucks to be them, either staying at motel 6's on vacations like regular folk or dead. Maybe just an American prison if they are lucky.

This needs to be said loud and clear. There is a pattern. The most obvious answer is that jAred repeatedly deceived because he knew what he was doing was wrong. tRump probably told him that if he got caught, he'd pardon him anyway or Pence or some other loyal KGOP figure would. Get the back channel done.

jAred's going to jail!

I still have a couple friends who are Trump supporters, and they think it is ludicrous to say that Trump or anyone around him is a Russian "agent." But when I pressed them on the matter, and asked if they thought - for example - Jared Kushner would seek out deals that might be beneficial to the Russians and harmful to us STRICTLY because the deals would enrich him and his family, not because he has allegiance to the Russian flag, they suddenly thought it was possible. They still thought it was unlikely, but left the door open.

So I think all this talk of "agents" may have people dismissing the truth, whereas framing it as abject greed might sink in.
