30. My RC Cola story

Back in 1965 the Beatles were coming to Comisky Park (Chicago) to play two shows. The tickets were $5.00 apiece, but I had no money and my father was laid off work so my parents couldn't give me any. At that time, RC Cola was running a contest; certain of the bottle caps had a money amount under them which you could take to the store and cash in. Well, as you can probably guess, I opened a bottle of RC Cola and, lo and behold, it had $10.00 under the cap. I cashed it in and bought a ticket for both shows. I was a happy high school sophomore in 1965 and have had a fondness for RC Cola to this day.
