in the world would Trump give the Russian "Dachas" in New York and Maryland back to the Russians now.
The answer is staring them in the face... these are clearly summertime retreats... and it is after Memorial Day (start of summer).
Time to retreat from Washington and sip on a champagne popsicle.
The Russians ordered Trump to give them back their estates... pure and simple.

(82,849 posts)It's like President Trump prioritizes Russia and its desires over everything else, including the best interests of the United States and its allies. Baffling! Anybody have any ideas on this? Besides the dirty fucking hippies who are always right about things somehow, but we don't listen to them.

(2,770 posts)-Trump is so totally owned by Putin that optics don't matter to him. I think Putin exerts dominance by making DT act suspiciously at inauspicious moments.
-Pulling out of the climate accords will further damage us with our allies, much to Putin's delight.
-By freeing his staff from ethics concerns DT further thumbs his nose at the country.
-Devin Nunes, supposedly recused, has returned to a role in the House investigation. These bad pennies continue to turn up after we thought they were at least sidelined. Bannon was said to have less influence but now seems resurgent as well.
-Sessions is said to have had yet another unreported meeting with Kislyak.
I know some progress is being made, but I fear the longer the investigations drag on, the less likely it will be that we get back a fixable nation. I hope something heartening occurs soon.
Sorry for whining.
