I still cannot fucking believe Donald Trump is president.

It's been how many days since the election? I am no less awed by the state of affairs now than I was on election night. And on election night I wept.

It still feels like an alternate reality.

I took break from social media, newspapers, msnbc, DU ( I used to surf DU for many years even though i never registered as a poster).

Only when we decided to organize did i jump back in.

Reading this post makes me go back into my shell.

But we must not give into this negativity by becoming nasty ourselves..we must have have quiet resolve to turn the tide.

Yes we can.

My radio goes off in the wee hours of the morning, tuned to the BBC. So when I awoke to those voices, they made no sense at all, because they seemed to be talking as if Trump had won the election.

Really, it made no sense at all. I'd apparently awoken into an alternate universe.

Luckily for me I read a lot of science fiction, so the notion of an alternate universe isn't that strange. But how in the name of all that is sacred did I actually wind up in THIS alternate universe?

Why would the vote for him after all things that were revealed.

Yeah. Let's not sugar-coat it.

I don't care WHAT degree one has or what life experience one is coming from.

If you thought "President Donald Trump" was a great idea, you're a first-round draft pick in the Dumbass Lottery.

Voters cannot play stupid when it comes to how a sociopath like Trump was going to run America . . . it's not like they've been living in a cultural cave since the early 1980$.

They knew what Bewsh-on-steroids bullshit was going to happen. And they voted for the Gilded Pelt Beret just the same.

Of late I had expected Trump would place further sanctions on Russia for rigging the election (and to show he was a strong president) now we are give the information that he intends to reward them by giving them back the properties that Obama kicked them out of for meddling. Reward to them for rigging! Why isn't there an outcry from the people of the US.

HAS to continue until EVERY gop traitor is out of office. The gop OWNS tRump and all of his insanity. Worldwide, people recognize his insanity, instability, loutish behavior. He is a walking, talking, tweeting JOKE. Only way he made it into the WH was by dirty tricks, from the Russians, and the GOP. If Hillary, or any democratic president had tried to do even half of what this idiot has done, impeachment would already be in progress. Bill Clinton was impeached for an affair!! tRump is destroying our reputation WORLDWIDE, and his greedy family acts as though they are royalty. I have NEVER been so disgusted at the gop as I have been since the orange mistake was put into the WH. I was no fan of Dubya, but this clown is even worse. Too bad the gop scrapes the very bottom of their barrel for candidates for president.

They knew enough to think he was rich and very successful and was willing to devote his own time and money to create jobs and make America great again, or as low-information voters, they voted for him as the default Republican. These are the voters who are starting to regret their vote. He has already lost a third of that support and that will continue to increase.

in the job, James Comey, to be the guy who takes him out of the job.

The craziest part is that they might not be wrong. What does Comey care is Trump is taken down? The GOP took back the White House, Hillary was humiliated and degraded, and Neil Gorsuch is on the Supreme Court.

Mission accomplished. (And it was a mission for Comey).

I do think he was careless (ironic given his statements toward Clinton) in handling the investigation. I would need more evidence to conclude that he truly had a horse in the race.
