We don't need no stinkin' investigations

Of course the committees in the Senate and House should continue but we have all the evidence we need to proceed with a vote today.

President Trump's announcement to withdraw from the international climate accord is a high crime.

President Trump's numerous policies to wage war on Mother Earth is a high crime.

President Trump's vigorous assault against science as a critical factor in planning our future is a high crime.

The Russia crimes will be misdemeanors in comparison to the damage he is doing to our environment that will leave a legacy of decades, even IF we start to reverse the policies in 2020.

The great irony is, of course, that politically its a stupid move. Donald Trump already has a 100% lock on all of those who hate intelligent environmental policy, science and multilateral agreements between nations. He picks up not one vote.

In order to get other countries to agree to this agreement the US forced other governments to take unpopular stands and commit to difficult domestic emission goals. When Trump tries to execute bilateral agreements these countries are going to make him pay for it. They will expose him for the fool he is.

We are going to see a whirlwind of domestic opposition that will include our leading scientific, cultural (Hollywood), educational and progressive business leaders take this decision apart piece by piece. Republicans you will reap the results of the whirlwind you have unleashed.
