It is the MORAL DUTY of every citizens to vote.
77,000 people in three states made this day possible. In a nation of 350 MILLION, less than 100,000 votes caused THIS.
And for those of us who DID vote, next time bring a non voter with you.

(3,040 posts)We did not sufficiently change their minds to vote for Hillary. They do not owe us their votes, we need to convince them how to vote.

(81,451 posts)And she would have appointed Gorsuch to SC too! No difference at all!
JK, what would be happening now is that people would be vilifying her for choosing a solid left-center justice for not being far-left, despite the fact that a far-left candidate would not make it through GOP-controlled Senate hearing. Her climate change position would be ripped as too corporate friendly because she made those speeches

(22,669 posts)We had people that would accompany voters to the polls. My (volunteer) job was to help target voters to vote and narrow the voter lists down to those who needed additional info or help getting to the polls. We have volunteers from other states too, driving hundreds of miles to help us, democrats and Hillary win up and down the ballot. It was a magnificent inspiring effort.
There wasn't a person who wasn't in full press mode all the way up to the polls closing. We won our county for Hillary Clinton. We won our state for Clinton. And we won the democratic senate seat, but not a gain. All of us gave it everything we had to make that happen. tRump was a threat to our democracy and that motivated us.
It is with a pit in my stomach that we lost overall. And it is still hard to believe we are where we are today because of uninformed voters who backed a known grifter.

(21,506 posts)try actually looking at the final totals instead of googling articles.
Michigan by itself one of the three states in your holy trinity had a win by trump of over 100k votes.
https://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/michigan
Pennsylvania was 40k
http://www.cnn.com/election/results/states/pennsylvania/president
and Wisconsin was 20k
http://www.cnn.com/election/results/states/wisconsin/president
That is over double your google estimate.
Maybe you should take some time to actually get the facts before lecturing people based on articles written before the votes were completely tallied.
Still a small percentage of the votes cast in total I certainly agree there but more than 77k in just Michigan by itself.
In my total I had switched Wisconsin for Florida. Which is why my total was higher and I asked which states.
