Sessions Would Still Be Confirmed, Perjury Aside

The repubs would still have confirmed him with Pence as the tiebreaker, even if it was proven he perjured himself multiple times.

What makes anyone think there are more than perhaps a couple of repubs with ANY conscience.

Now if this were a Democrat, he'd already be out as AG, and in jail.

And are Fascist in nature. They can't get enough votes to win seats legitimately, so they have become a corrupt party. In particular, they have dropped ethics as having too much baggage. They cheat at every opportunity. Like I say, if they weren't this way, they'd never win any elections.

Trump, this has to be a real nightmare for the Republicans. Apparently no one has yet shown that they would be a profile in courage and stand against any of this. Maybe, they know that they would be killed politically if they stand up on any of this and Trump continues to have enough support to stay. The comment that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue now may apply not just to his base, but the party as a whole.

I suspect that only if his support plummets further - and it is already low - that as 2018 looms, anyone in the least bit purple district might be in a terrible dilemma. If they drop Trump, a primary may be likely; if they don't they lose the general election.
