Anyone else see "Nova" about the Flint lead in water fiasco this week?

You know the worst part of this?

The guy ultimately responsible for this is *STILL* in power, Michigan's governor Snyder.

He deserves nothing less that going to JAIL!

and I agree. One of the things that continues to be a gaping sore on America is how persons can commit crimes and get away with it. Snyder's is one of the most blatant cases.

As we come up on the national birthday, i often wonder what our founders would think of how the oligarchs in this country can continue to bend and break rules and for the most part avoid punishment. Also how they can capture the very reins of government to make what they do legal.

While reading on Flint a friend and I had a discussion on how that old saw "Crime doesn't pay" is not only BS but how crime pays extremely well, pays few taxes and often makes the criminal a respected person in the community.
