It seems to me

that one of the most effective things the DNC could do now is direct $$$ to individual state parties where voter suppression has been apparent. Why not use resources to make certain all qualified voters in our party are registered and can vote? That might mean setting up block captains to mobilize and go door to door to make certain registered Democrats have the documents for the so called "identification requirements" that will allow them to vote. Set up advocacy centers in neighborhoods to assist folks in getting birth certificates or other paperwork. Many people who were not able to vote in the last election because they lacked ID's, would be helped by this. In states that allow for absentee voting, assist voters in getting absentee ballots, thereby eliminating the need to travel to get to a voting booth, therefore curtailing early voting might not be so problematic. This would be especially effective on Native American reservations where most residents would probably vote Democratic. As much as the GOP has tried to suppress the vote, Dems should focus on overcoming those efforts with a laser focused attempt to deal with it.
