This brouhaha is Republicans framing the narrative and us falling for it hook line and sinker. A-fucking-gain. We're even anticipating their displeasure and getting all scared of it.

If we didn't get all breathless about it and if we treated the breathless Republicans as if they were making a mountain out of a molehill, which they are, it would not amount to anything.

She should never have apologized.

I couldn't agree more about the filth Ted Nugent said about President Obama, his lack of apology, the fact that the right never condems it, and that fact that Benedict Donald invited him to the White House.

But we on the left are better than that and now other's hate will be excused because, Kathy Griffin stooped to the hateful right's level.

13. She dun goofed.

For someone who makes a living dishing out the heat, she's a poor sport at taking it.

It's not the original incident that's going to haunt her, it's her response to it that's going to be
her undoing. I never even heard of her until this fiasco.

When I first saw the pic, I didn't find it offensive, horrific or the slightest bit funny, I just saw it as a lame,
eye rolling attempt at being 'ohhh so edgy', relevant and controversial'... like 'meh', whatever.

I didn't even remember it a day or two later when someone I know asked me what I thought about the Kathy Griffin
thing... "who the fuck is Kathy Griffin? Ohhh... is that the comedian holding Trumps severed head thing? What about it?"

Then she goes and has this mind blowing disaster of a press conference. Like, WTF was she thinking?
A smarter, more wiser person would have just let it go (although a smarter, more wiser person wouldn't have
posed for that pic to begin with), be done with it, and in 6 months or less, it will all be forgotten and she could
get back on track with her career.

Whatever she has coming is on her.
