Impeach Maher.

He said something stupid. My God what is going on with the american people. There is nothing wrong with America. The american people have turned into a bunch of assholes. Thats the problem. We have a president who insults everybody and we get upset by what Maher says?

often disagree with him. Nor do I disagree that he's an asshole, but I don't see this comparison fitting. Maher has guests on and discusses things seriously with them. Alex Jones doesn't do that shit. Nugent is just a crazy rocker saying horribly racist shit that somehow the GOP can't get enough of and think is just hunky dory, so no, he also is not discussing hard topics with other Democrats, Liberals and Conservatives and pushing boundaries of what should be reasonable to talk about.

You think our dislike and condemnation of insensitive and stupid Maher's "House N*gger" joke changes that?

Black Democrats have been pissed off about every racist thing from the right from the get go. Be it Sessions racist moves at the DoJ that folks here seem to ignore or the many racist RW speakers like Nugent. It would be nice if we weren't call "bots" or accused of being selective, when we call out those on the left for it as well.

that we know will feel remorse or regret in the face of overwhelming backlash. The executive branch of the federal government is currently riddled with unapologetic white supremacists, and sure we voice our objections, mainly to each other, but not in any sustained or directed attempt to elicit a concession that we know will never come.

Just ignore Maher.

If you must get outraged, get outraged about Ted Nugent who is actually backed by the president.
