One week ago my husband and I were approximately 1/4 mile from London Bridge.

The day after we arrived, the Manchester massacre happened, and now this! I recognize every inch of areas media are showing. We were there so recently, and walked everywhere. It is truly horrifying. I don't know who the victims were, but they could have been people we met.

something like that happened. The Weihnachten mart attack in Germany hit home as I had lived only a few blocks from there as a child for a couple years.

We were only there for a week, but we walked across London Bridge and were constantly in that area. It's just so disturbing.

the places we usually shopped without going through it. The day it happened I got up turned on the TV and there it was. I called my mother to ask if she saw it and to find out if my brother had friends who might have been there. My brother is a German Consultant so he knows a lot of people in Germany.

Both my parents lived through that.

It was amazing. Then I picked up a book about the blitz. I love London and the little bit more of England I have seen. Congrats on moving back to a civilized country!
