UK Election Update (11 PM)

Conservatives on track to have MOST seats, but not enough to form a Government. (currently down 10)

Corbyn has called for May to resign. (Labour currently up 22)

Very bad night for Scottish National Party (currently down 11)

. . . the pro-Scottish independence maniacs, right? Since I think the idea of Scottish secession is very bad, I'm glad to hear they're losing steam.

But I'm reading that the minority parties are unlikely to team up with the conservatives, so it would then fall to corbyn.

I expect a Conservative/Democratic Unionist arrangement.

650 seats... but Sinn Fein don't take theirs. They have 7. So effectively need 321 for majority. DUP in Northern Ireland have 10. So 311 Conservatives plus 10 DUP will get a majority in Parliament.

Broadcasters forecast 316 seats for the Conservatives.

So it will be a minority Conservative government, propped up by the DUP.

Unless DUP will support a rainbow coalition (Lab, SNP, LibDem, Plaid Cymru, Green, others)
