You convince yourself that you are right about everything no matter how unrealistic and incorrect you are. It is self preservation. They don't even know they're doing it since it's their nature. He is nuts and both he and the GOP are self serving, greedy, power hungry, unpatriotic traitors so we are stuck with all of them unless the dems win in 2108 or he drops dead before then.
