Thank you James Comey

Who knows how many of the Trump crazies might try to hurt you or your family now that 45 has lied about you. Don't worry we know who is lying between the two of you. I'm sorry your career was taken and you have been thrust into this situation for trying to do the right thing. Thank you for being one of the few associated with the whole mess willing to put Country before career and money.

Thank you. I appreciate what you have tried to do.

But ex-Pres Clinton did what he did and it created a terrible optic that put a whole lot of other things in play. However innocent his intention was it was a stupid, stupid thing to do.

The "tarmac event" didn't "put Comey in a bad position". You're buying his bunk. Comey didn't need to do shit other than his normal job, which was to say there is no case against Hillary. But he has a bug up his ass about the Clinton's - he practically spent his whole career investigating Hillary - and getting nothing, like he was getting in the email investigation - nothing! But instead of just saying no case, he excoriates her for being careless, knowing that the republicans are going to conflate extreme carelessness, with committing a crime. Thus the chants of " lock her up". He was dead wrong to do that. He's a prick and the cause of this circus going on right now. Fuck him.

this man is a straight shooter. My opinion. I'm grateful to him. He did not go along and try and bury the Flynn Russia thing.

but I believe he has always done what he thought was the right thing which was to protect the constitution and this country. It would have been much easier for him to just walk away and enjoy private life. I don't imagine he will have any trouble getting a job.

notes with him. I'm going to have to say here that Hillary's husband partially caused her this election by trying to have a private talk with Lynch. Well , that and all the Russian interference and I also think there was a whole lot more in the play than just what Comey did.

I have a friend who is a therapist and she has several new clients due to the election. Some due to depression, some due to family conflict over Twitler. As The Ferret says, things be cray.

I so do not want to live in a weird theocracy where the rich get richer and the poor get more poor and human rights are stripped away The GOP is trying to make democrats 2nd class citizens, as well as doing that to the LGBT and minorities. It's very depressing.

I truly believe our democracy will survive. It's going to be in a bit of a mess but we will get it straightened out. I think there are enough true patriots within our government to keep things from getting too far off course.
