I never thought for a moment that tapes of Comey's discussion in the Oval Office existed. It was a thuggish threat that was as empty as Trump's head.

But, you never know, right?

Well, the fact that Trump doubled down denying he ever asked Comey for allegiance or that he told him to back off the investigation, tells me that no tapes exist.

It is now a true "he said, he said."

made meticulous notes after that discussion and disseminated them. Trump thinks he can just say Comey lied! and everyone will believe him, the President, not the (disgraced in Trump's view) former head of the FBI.
