Trump gets confronted in deposition on over 30 lies.

Author, journalist Tim O'Brien turned tables on Trump.

Trump had sued (Tim O'Brien) accusing him of being reckless and dishonest in a book that raised questions about Trump’s net worth. The reporter’s attorneys turned the tables and brought Trump
in for a deposition.

For two straight days, they asked Trump question after question that touched on the same theme: Trump’s honesty.

The lawyers confronted the mogul with his past statements — and with his company’s internal documents, which often showed those statements had been incorrect or invented. The lawyers were relentless. Trump, the bigger-than-life mogul, was vulnerable — cornered, out-prepared and under oath.

Here is what is cool about the above story:it shows exactly how Trump thinks and how he creates the basis for his lies, and most importantly that he KNOWS he is lying.

The Dems would start with the tapes tweet and work their way back.

Trump's credibility would be shredded cuz he will pile lie on lie.

Which is why this story is so important. It shows how he thinks, how he justifies.

remember, Trump is a famed micro-manager. That is on public record.
That means, as he has shown even this week, that he wants.has to control the message, has to "explain things". He sees depositions as a good way to do that. Being trapped in a lie does not throw him as it would you or I..he shrugs it off and moves to the next question.

Trump is one of those people who will talk himself INTO prison, he cannot keep his mouth shut.

Four Wheel Drive
Bachman–Turner Overdrive

Why can't you do something right?
Your name is all over the town
Your reputation is sweeping the nation
The rumors are bringing me down

You stand on the tip of my tongue
I can't get you out of my head
There's no syncopation with any relation
Could it be that there's trouble ahead?
Four wheel drive, four wheel ride
Side by side, four wheel drive
Why don't you try to slow down?
I'm standing at the back of the line
We made reservations to meet at the station
My schedule is running behind
What can I do to survive?
Why am I always abused?
Anticipation of constant frustration
Can it be that there's any good news?
Four wheel drive, four wheel ride
Side by side, four wheel drive
Why can't you do something right?
Your name is all over the town
Your reputation…

(my opinion) he was sharper then, not as off center as he is now..By "off center" I mean gone, out of tune, nuts, not focused, etc.......so....... in the deposition, he was the head of a business..not the head of our government..A long read..but proves the point he is a pathological liar, and doesn't give a shit about anything...but himself..

In the deposition, he often corrects previous statements. NEVER AN APOLOGY for lies...often blames others..and even under oath...often continues down that lying path.. Yes, worth the read, each to his own conclusion..Even under oath, I didn't get the feeling he cared about the truth. Too bad this wasn't required reading of every voter who voted in the last election. Perhaps the outcome would have been different...Perhaps...

“My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with markets and with attitudes and with feelings, even my own feelings,” Trump said.

I feel like a million dollars, to Trump, is apparently a literal phrase.

Two minor ones. Big deal.

How about his explanation for pulling us out of the Paris climate agreement? I think that was at least one lie per sentence but may have averaged more.

Part of me would like to see him hang around, but only if we can flip congress in 2018. At that point he would effectively be a lame duck. Congress could keep him busy trying to cover his ass. Maybe he would be primaried or maybe he'd decide not to run again. In either case, the R's would be so fucked up that I think the right candidate could have a really decisive victory.

But I don't think his mental or physical health will hold out. Pence may not be that bad to run against. He could easily be tied to 45's dumb policy ideas. And he has zero personality. And that does matter.

Between him and his crazy collection of crooks, he is too unstable to count on. Crazy, impulsive, habitual liar. Nope, he needs to go as of yesterday.
