LOSER 45 is playing with words

He said he never asked Comey to pledge his allegiance, we know that, he asked him to pledge his "loyalty"
I haven't heard any of the news people bring that up.
The LOSER is changing words so he can deny the accusations. POS.

He sounds like a two bit mobster because that's exactly what he is. Having any mobster demand loyalty from any cop is illegal.

The more Republicans protect this dirtbag, the worse it will be for them.

know - and, as you say, have not seen that mentioned in any news I've seen...but yes, they are two distinctly different words, and I did wonder if this switcheroo will work to LOSER 45's advantage someday.

(Have certainly learned about "parsing" these last couple of months!)

They tried defining what "I hope" means when we all know what "I hope" means when it's said to the person you want a particular outcome from. Everybody on this planet has heard a version of "I hope you did/didn't xxxxxxxxx" in their lives. We all know what it means, so cut it out.

The other big one I noticed is how they are trying to use the fact Trump wasn't under investigation at that time as some sort of indication of lack of guilt. What they are trying to gloss over is that they were looking at his underlings, Flynn, Paige, Sessions, Manafort, etc. Now it's expanding up the line with Kushner, Trump's council and maybe members of the GOP too?

The intelligence community seems to be working their way up the line to Trump. The GOP can continue to ignore it and play word games to obstruct all they want because when the dust clears, might take a a year or so, the modern GOP is dead. Just how dead they are is going to be directly correlated to how far they let the coal burning trump train travel into the desert.

He was only thinking "Pledge of Allegiance" when he said that.

He has no idea what loyalty means, only that it sounds similar to "Royalty". So in his mind he wasn't asking Comey for Allegiance, he was asking for him to treat him as Royalty but it came out as "Loyalty".
