(1,201 posts)It's what should be going on with any HC bill. Like it was with the ACA. Republicans new health care bill should be called the "Un-Affordable Care Act or UACA. It will have little to do with actual health care as it will be a tax give away to the 1% as it will all but destroy Medicaid.

(15,183 posts)I might be a naif (at 60+) but are these back-handed compliments?
Is the DNC so f'in scared of people outside of their big-D zone that they won't acknowledge that other voices have some merit? Maybe I need to go back and read the DU Constitution and Bylaws and Terms&Conditions. Are there other things we are forced to sign when getting an account.

(54,302 posts)This is what we need Bernie Sanders (and the rest of our national prominence) to be doing.
Instead of spending time telling Democrats what failures we are, let's concentrate on making sure Republicans know what failures THEIR leaders are!

(27,794 posts)That's what an ally of the Democratic party would do.
I love your reply:
"Instead of spending time telling Democrats what failures we are, let's concentrate on making sure Republicans know what failures THEIR leaders are!"
and the Republicans make it SO easy.
UNITE & RESIST!!!

(1,201 posts)Shame them for their divisiveness.
In my 60+ years, this is the WORST I have ever seen. To think they impeached over a BJ ....makes my blood pressure go up just thinking about it. These clowns make Nixon look like a walk in the park.

(23,065 posts)On policy, Bernie is almost always spot on. On Democrats and the Democratic party, he's less than 100% and I fear he could tear us apart and help ensure another win for Drumpf and the haters.
