According to the Wall Street Journal, JP Morgan Chase has pulled TV and online ads from NBC until after the network airs host Megyn Kellys controversial interview with InfoWars host Alex Jones on June 18.
An unnamed source close to the issue told the Journal the company doesnt want any of its ads to appear adjacent to any promotions for the interview.
Earlier in the day, J.P. Morgans chief marketing manager Kristin Lemkau tweeted that she was repulsed that Kelly and NBC would give a second of airtime to someone who says Sandy Hook and Aurora are hoaxes, citing Jones infamous statements claiming that the aforementioned massacres were anti-Second Amendment false flag operations.
Despite publicized outrage from the families of children shot at Sandy Hook, J.P. Morgan Chase is the first advertiser to pull ads from NBC since the interview was announced.

(5,376 posts)I recently returned from a week-long stay on Maui. What a lovely place to spend time. Truly the spirit of Kokua reigns in your beautiful state. (Hope I used that word correctly.) Just heard Hawaiians are feeling a bit nervous about the possibility of the crazed "dear leader" and his missiles not far north of you. Funny...I feel the same about the other "dear leader" located about 3000 miles east of me. Stay strong, keep up your great work and Mahalo! Oh, and just for the record--those fire dancers at the luau were awesome!

(7,888 posts)I could not bear Greta or Megan on the "other" networks. Let's not ignore these stains on journalism and NBC's efforts to buy "market share".
Good bye to paying a premium for MSNBC on cable.

(5,801 posts)Just because someone has gotten enough airtime to become notorious, doesn't mean they deserve attention from any journalist or media outlet with credibility. Of course, NBC seems to be doing its best to jeopardize that status.
For once, I'm glad that Chase holds my mortgage (bought by them from the originating mortgage co.--I had nothing to do with it and have always felt annoyed that my $$$ are going to their pockets).
p.s. Oh yeah, this is one of the right's favorite tactics to shift the country farther right: start out with a completely crazy person or idea and then attempt to legitimize it through getting exposure in the "mainstream" media. I smell a rat, a bleached blonde tool of a rat enlisted in this cause.

(6,588 posts)... everything with Washington Mutual. Then Chase bought Washington Mutual & I was right back with those A-holes. I've had to send loan docs back 4-5 times because Chase made simple stupid mistakes, over & over. One time the Chase loan officer went on vacation for 2 weeks & didn't tell me (& didn't hand the loan processing over to anyone else) & I almost lost a home purchase (I closed on the last day, with literally less than an hour to spare, because I was on the phone raising holy hell with Chase managers).
When I went through my divorce I took the additional step of getting court orders specifically directed at Chase designating exactly what debt I was legally responsible for, as determined by the court ... & of course Chase chose to ignore the court orders & hassle me. Please excuse my language, but fuck them. I kept telling them to talk to the judge (& forwarding their messages to him) until they finally stopped. They even asked me to sign a document that directly contradicted the court order. (Uh ... NO!)
Remember the banking "collapse" & the concept of "too big to fail?" I'm convinced Chase is "too big to succeed." IMHO they can fail & make way for a competent competitor to take their market share. The sooner the better.
