A hunch about why Sessions wouldn't reveal Trump conversations

Is it possible they are planning on prosecuting Comey for revealing his conversations with Trump on the bullshit pretext Sessions was hawking?

They have already made such noises about Comey's "leaking."

Am I way out there on this?

They would be reaching to try that. I know, big surprise.

Trump just doesn't want them to talk.about it bwcause he probably asked them to do something illegal.

He's at 36% approval, but this move could drop him to 26% and Robert Mueller would have an even greater motive to bring down the Trump admin.

They'd get nowhere at all if they tried to prosecute Comey for discussing his conversations or releasing his notes. All of that was perfectly legal. I think Sessions, Coats and Rogers are hiding something a lot more serious at Trump's direction - probably related to Russia and Flynn.

Sessions couldn't name any law or precedent for his own refusal to reveal specifics about any conversation with Trump. Kamala Harris gave him every opportunity to spell it out.

One, his notes aren't classified. Two, he was a private citizen. And three, Trump never indicated, implied, etc. that this was under executive privilege. Then, of course, "executive privilege" still hasn't been put to the test by the courts, its always been a gray area....and an area the SC is likely to side with Congress in the case of an ongoing investigation.

But I wouldn't doubt if dipshit donnie kicks his feet and wants that to happen. At most maybe dipshit will talk to his lawyer and his lawyer will threaten a defamation suit. But doubt if it would actually happen since the discovery phase could open up dipshit to more problems.

As to why the keebler elf wouldn't reveal anything. He along with Coats know anything they say dipshit donnie could come out and say the opposite next week. Remember their reason for firing Comey. Sessions even signed a letter saying it was how Comey handled the emails. But dipshit came out later and admitted he did it to stop the investigation. According to reports after that dipshit blamed sessions for the plan not working.
