Sessions cannot play dumb to the law and still be AG

Today was the most ridiculous display of ineptitude I have seen in a long time.

Sessions wants us to believe that he has the qualifications to deserve his post as America's top lawyer, but also that he cannot answer questions because he is the country's dumbest lawyer.

I went to law school, even passed the bar. We are taught early on about using precise language, about not offering up more than was asked, to keep notes, to backup everything. My husband worked for years as the main IT guy in a law firm. My husband can maybe use up a pad of paper in 10 yrs...he writes nothing down and deletes everything. He was unprepared for the resistance of attorneys to shred documents and found they were still keeping stashes of files off site. As soon as he said that they had to shred stuff...even I felt a moment of panic on their behalf.

Sessions' meandering non-answers and generalizations had to make every lawyer watching salivate with the urge to pounce. Ms Kamala Harris had that smile of "I am going to make you look like a blithering idiot, if the scared men in the room give me a chance". She knew he was stalling and trying to use up her time...talking about the tragedy of our relations with Russia and the history of the Cold War.

And what idiot attorney blames a "rambling question": good lord, even the worst attorney knows that if you don't understand a question ask for clarity instead of just spouting of an answer and volunteering up info that wasn't even asked.

Basically Sessions' testimony and defense of his actions was that he is the country's most bumbling attorney. He gets nervous when questioned quickly, cannot handle long questions, and cannot handle many hours of questioning. So basically he would have failed his first semester in law school.

You cannot use ineptitude and stupidity as an excuse, and still say you are qualified for the top job of your profession.

I know it's all an act...this aw shucks I'm just a simple southern boy getting beat up by these meanies...but for fucks sake...in any other administration you have also just laid out the perfect reason for your ass to be fired.

Putin. That russian oligarch money stains a large part of the GOP leadership and they can't be trusted.

He even did a I don't know answer. So add even simple short questions he can't handle.

He obviously can't handle the job he was appointed to do. Time for an assisted living facility for this one.

And the poor baby was totally blown away by how awful those hateful Senators were, sure. I thought he would be able to cover his obvious guilt better than he did.
