Racism played a part in preventing today's shooting?

Guarentee if the shooter was not white, Congressman Duncan would be more proactive in reporting the suspicious person in YMCA parking lot before the shooting.

The shooter asked who was playing, republicans or democrats? Yes, even without a gun observed, it would have been reported if the shooter was black.

The suspicious activity wasnt reported until after the shooting. The congressman gave the white guy the benefit of the doubt. He did not see a gun, only a burlap bag.

Too many people seem too eager to twist this sick man's reprehensible behavior to fit their own political grudges. This guy was an unhinged lunatic, and an unhinged psyche can latch on to any ideology.

If anything, today's shooting was about the volume of intolerance in our politics, not the details of any ideologies.

In your desperation to make this tragedy fit your worldview, you're only adding to the kind of noise that eggs on marginal people like this shooter
