Re Trumplicans better not dare lecture about "civility" or "dangerous rhetoric"

They "OWN" this shooter. I don't care if he was a Bernie supporter, or he left the GOP in anger, or what.

You know one thing you “WON’T” hear today? You won’t hear a liberal, or progressive on 600 radio stations talking about how this was really a “False Flag”, or that it “didn’t really happen”, or that it was “a set-up to make the ‘left’ look bad.

You heard that 24/7 from the “reich” after the Gifford and Sandy Hook shootings.

For close to 40 years now, there has been a constant, uninterrupted, unchallenged, unbalanced spewing of “hateful” rhetoric singularly directed at Democrats, Liberals and Progressives. Here is just a small sampling of what you can hear on your radio dial EVERYDAY FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS.

- “Democrats want to see more of our troops killed”

- “Democrats are Anti-American and don’t have our values of freedom and liberty”

- “Barack the Magic Negroe”

- “She’s a Slut…She’s a Prostitute”

- “Obama’s a Kenyan Socialist”

- “Hillary has been castrating men her whole life”

And on, and on, and on.

And let’s not forget, that recently, a disgusting piece of human garbage that said he wanted to “shove an Uzi up Hillary’s cunt and pull the trigger” (his words…not mine), AND a woman who placed Gabriel Gifford’s in sniper sites 3 days before she was shot, just got a nice tour and “warm welcome” to the White House. Harmful Rhetoric my ASS!

ReTrumplicans had an opportunity to unite this country after President Obama was elected. They could have compromised and worked together, and even if that were not realistic, the LEAST they could have done would have been to treat him with decency and respect.

Instead, they gave a “wink and a nod” as some bloviating gasbag claimed the President wasn’t even born a citizen.

If hundreds, or even dozens of ReTrumplicans would have stood up and vehemently denounced this racist, disgusting, deplorable attack, they could have helped unify this country, and as a side benefit…they may have saved themselves from having this walking-talking turd as the leader of their party.

So please, spare me the “harmful rhetoric” canard.

That's if the poll existed; I didn't see it, so I don't know.

But there were a lot of attempts to say it wasn't somebody left of center, early on.

And then there's the attempt to say that it's really just because of his mental instability, and, well, nobody's responsible for that. Yeah: If you're left of center and mentally unstable, who can judge; if you're right of center and mentally unstable, it's their rhetoric that made you do it.

Coupled with the "he has quite a history with the police" rhetoric, implying that he's been consistently violent and in trouble with the law ... with one serious complaint 11 years ago, charges dropped. (What he did, not good; but one incident isn't a pattern.)
