All the clamor translates into my mind that we desperately need better mental health care resources

We can't just ignore the mentally ill and those with severe issues in our society and hope they go away. It's very popular to hate terrorists and shooters without having any plans for curing violence . Personally I think some of those terrorists may have been suffering from PTSD or other mental disorders.

We have now an epidemic of violence in our country, but very few resources where they can call and talk out their problems or get therapy. We just turn blind eyes to them thinking ignoring them will make them go away. They aren't going away. Who do they call when they are feeling like they want to do something crazy? Where do they turn for help?

Some countries have provided free mental health care for their citizens. It's an act of caring and compassion. It may also be an act of self preservation in some instances.

Inside of Washington, outside of Washington, in the media most especially.

I feel almost over the edge by politics many days, and I am fortunate to have a good support system and otherwise stable mental health.

I can only imagine how all of this affects those with psychiatric conditions.
