(1,109 posts)Good thing he was a terrible shot and apparently used sub standard ammunition or it would have been very much worse. It appears that he was trying to "walk" in his shots rather than truly aiming if what Rand Paul said was true. If he fired 50 rounds it would have been truly horrific if he had even a basic grasp of shooting. I am glad that he did not have much skill. Noone deserves to be gunned down indiscriminately. In the end we are all Americans.

(36,260 posts)I don't think there actually are any legal definitions for what defines a battle rifle, an assault rifle, or an assault weapon.

(13,340 posts)An assault rifle a medium power cartridge with a select fire capability. An SKS is semi-auto only rifle... no select-fire capability.
